The Project
What We Were Asked to Build
A full master bathroom remodel with a curbless marble-tile shower, frameless glass, heated floors, and a custom quartz-topped vanity.
The owners wanted a spa-like master bath that was easier to clean and safer to step into. The old tub-shower combo and single vanity were no longer working for two people.
Problem & Solution
The Challenge
The existing floor joists were not perfectly level, which is a problem for a curbless shower pan that needs precise drainage.
Our Solution
We sistered and shimmed the subfloor until it was flat within 1/8 inch, then installed a pre-sloped foam pan. Water drains cleanly to the linear drain with no pooling.
