The Project
What We Were Asked to Build
A dedicated theater and bar built into the back half of a basement — acoustic wall assemblies, full blackout, projector pre-wire, and a stone-topped bar.
The homeowner wanted a real movie experience at home: dark walls, good sound, and a bar for entertaining without going upstairs.
Problem & Solution
The Challenge
Basement ceilings are low, and the projector needed a precise throw distance. We also had to hide all the wiring for a clean look.
Our Solution
We built a soffit to house the projector, HDMI, and speaker wiring. The screen wall was framed with a dedicated equipment niche behind it.
